The Day of Values evening assembly celebrated the spiritual values on which the mandir is built and the values it will continue to promote and sustain.
The chief stage guests were Pujya Chidanand Saraswatiji Maharaj, President and Spiritual Head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, and Padma Shri Pujya Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, Founder Head, International Sadguru Foundation. In the assembly, sadguru swamis and the invited guest mahatmas gave spiritual guidance to the audience.
Pujya Viveksagar Swami said, “In 1990 in New York, Pramukh Swami Maharaj highlighted three requirements for engaging in seva: do it with mahima, understanding and detachment from any expectations.”
Pujya Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji said, “The greatest aspect of our dharma is values. These values are sanatan (eternal), hence our dharma is known as Sanatan Dharma. To establish peace everywhere these values are essential. This mandir is built on such eternal values. Everybody who comes here will feel that this is their mandir. These messages of humanity will echo around the world from here.”
Pujya Chidanand Saraswatiji Maharaj said, “This is a pilgrimage place. Walls create barriers and boundaries, but you have created a wall of harmony here. Today, I give credit to the King and President of the UAE because you have shown the world that where there is generosity, where there is a big heart, open heart, there is a welcome for all and things can happen. This mandir is going to become another relay station for peace, love and harmony for all humanity. If you want to create harmony, please come here and see the true example. If we start giving value to values, you will see more peace, and a more sustainable world.”
At the end, Pujya Dr. Swami said, “This mandir will help everyone to understand each other and guide all on how to lead a pious life.”
