A behind-the-scenes documentary on the inspirational creation story of the ‘Island of Heroes’ children’s cultural adventureland has been released by the volunteers of BAPS in UK and Europe.
The ‘
Island of Heroes’ was one of the star attractions at the ‘
Festival of Inspiration’ celebrated at Neasden Temple in London from 22 to 31 July 2022. It was a fun, immersive experience for children and families to engage through theatrical shows, musical productions, a UV light show, 4D immersive experience, shadow play, escape room, obstacle course, interactive games, and much more.
Children were invited to set sail on an adventure through four distinct terrains – the Jungle of Gajendra, Mountain of Shravan, Sea of Squirrels, and Village of Shanti – and be inspired by heroes of the past and present to become the heroes of the future.
Visited by over 40,000 children and parents from all over the UK, and created by more than 1,100 artists, performers and crew, this historic volunteer effort has been captured like never before through interviews, videos and audio recordings to give a unique, homely insight into the incredible stories of the BAPS volunteers, who, through the inspiration of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, offered this once-in-a-lifetime tribute to His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj on his birth centenary.
