The Prasad Pravesh rituals of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir and Community Centre, Canberra, ACT, was performed by Paramchintan Swami, devotees and other swamis.
The Prasad Pravesh ceremony, performed on entering a new premise or building for the first time, included a Vedic mahapuja during which participants also prayed for peace, harmony, well-being, and righteous prosperity to prevail throughout the local community and worldwide.
The new mandir will facilitate children and youth activities, language classes, and traditional music classes, as well as other activities and events for young and old alike to preserve Hindu traditions, heritage, and spiritual values.
As a place of harmony, the mandir welcomes people of all faiths to experience and understand Hindu traditions and spirituality.
