Over 200 youths from 11 cities in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji (Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Geelong, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Canberra, Cranbourne, Tarneit) participated in this year’s Pacific region international cricket tournament titled, ‘Pramukh Premier League’. A total of 18 teams took part and the team from Cranbourne won the tournament.
Also, 16 teams participated in the first international volleyball tournament titled, ‘Mahant Premier League’. After the round-robin stage, the teams competed in the playoffs. Sydney won the tournament.
Daily, the youths performed samuh puja and the evening assemblies featured inspirational speeches by swamis, panel discussions with devotees giving their first-hand experiences of their seva, and activities to help build unity. These special daily assemblies also strengthened their faith in the Akshar-Purushottam philosophy.
These events helped to build unity among the youths and invigorated them to progress on the spiritual path by pleasing guru Mahant Swami Maharaj.
