Over 400 teenagers and youths aged 14–22 years attended the youth seminars, based on theme ‘Striving for Stability’ and held at eight BAPS centers in Australia (Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney) and New Zealand (Auckland and Wellington) between March and June.
The seminars focused on three pillars of stability: stability amid failures, stability in vision and stability in actions.
At each seminar, distinguished guest speaker and bestselling author, Mr. Joseph Rodarick Law, joined via Zoom to give his presentation to youths at the various centers. Mr. Law regularly speaks at international conferences and Fortune 500 companies, such as J.P. Morgan, L’Oréal, Johnson & Johnson, and Optus, as well as at leading universities.
Through his own life experiences, he guided the aspiring youths on the need for balance in their own lives and how can they remain stable through adversities.
Thereafter, resident swamis delivered a motivational presentation on how to overcome failures in life and maintain stability through them. Based on real-life examples of individuals who have remained stable through adversities and achieved success, the swamis spoke about the 5-step method to mentally overcome the hurdle of failure. They also spoke about how to maintain stability in one’s actions by doing meaningful things and keeping positive company. They emphasized the importance of coming to the mandir and attending youth assemblies to regularly gain knowledge and friends that help them to progress in life.
The seminars encouraged youths to strive for stability by strengthening their foundations, hence allowing them to grow as students, satsangis and individuals.
