Over 60 leaders representing many diverse Hindu organizations attended the Unity Forum, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, in the presence of Mahamahopadhyay Bhadreshdas Swami. The aim of the forum was to foster fraternity and oneness amongst the various organizations and strengthen unity.
The leaders, from a variety of spiritual, academic and cultural backgrounds, discussed the need for unity and working together to preserve and promote Hindu religion, culture and language. Addressing the gathering, Priyavrat Swami stressed the importance of unity in securing peace. He described the tireless efforts of Pramukh Swami Maharaj in uniting people to maintain peace.
Bhadreshdas Swami spoke on the principles of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, highlighting the importance of shastras, mandirs and the sant in helping to sustain language, traditional attire, a vegetarian diet and spirituality. He also emphasized the need for mandirs in society to nurture these principles in present and future generations.
