As individuals and organizations grapple with the financial, social, emotional and spiritual ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, over 1,200 BAPS families in Australia and New Zealand participated in a special online mahapuja prayer session.
At 10:00 a.m., swamis at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Melbourne began the rituals, which the devotees also performed at their homes.
The mahapuja was held on Shri Hari Jayanti to pray for the all-round well-being of all people, regardless of religion, nationality, race or beliefs, and a quick resolution to the pandemic.
The online mahapuja served to connect all BAPS devotees and well-wishers in solidarity against the pandemic.
