With the blessing of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj and His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, Pujya Priyasevadas Swami and Pujya Santpurushdas Swami, embarked upon Satsang Vicharan in Brazil, for the second time in two years, from August 24th through August 27th, 2019. Brazil is the largest country in Latin America with a population of 200 million; a predominantly Portuguese speaking country, with a very sparse Indian population. This satsang vicharan tour was undertaken with the aim of building on last year’s visit to strengthen faith and inspire a Hindu way of life for devotees in the Hindu community.
Pujya Swamis conducted the satsang assembly at the Indian Cultural Center in São Paulo on Sunday, August 25th, 2019  in the presence of the Consul General of India in São Paulo Honorable Amit Kumar Mishra, Brazil Country head, and Latin America BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) practice head for Tata Consultancy Services Mr. Tushar Parikh, Brazil correspondent of The Hindu Mr. Shobhan Saxena, leading community members as well as Brazilian community members. The assembly commenced with kirtan-bhakti by Pujya Santpurushdas Swami followed by a discourse by Pujya Priyasevadas Swami on ‘The Power of Mind’. Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Honorable Amit Kumar Mishra remembered his presence at the 2018 Fuldol Mahotsav in Perth, Australia, in the divine presence of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj. Mr. Shobhan Saxena shared his unique experiences while covering events at BAPS  Swaminarayan Mandir in Robbinsville, New Jersey.  Approximately 150 people attended the event.
Pujya Swamis visited the homes and offices of devotees. Pujya Swamis also visited Campinas, a city 100 km Northwest of São Paulo for a Janmashtami festival (birth of Shri Krishna) organized by devotees. This satsang vicharan helped rejuvenate and strengthen satsang among devotees residing in São Paulo and the surrounding areas.
