A team of four BAPS swamis based in Nairobi, Kenya, visited Ghana. It was the first time BAPS swamis had undertaken vicharan there.
Devotees Jigneshbhai Soni (Surat), Jayeshbhai Patel (Master), Jigneshbhai Patel (Dar-es-Salaam) and others have been holding satsang assemblies over the past five years.
During their six-day stay, the swamis performed padhramanis in Accra, the capital of Ghana, as well as Kumasi and Tema, visiting the homes of and spiritually guiding over 60 devotees and well-wishers.
The swamis also conducted a ‘Shri Swaminarayan Mahapuja’ in which senior devotees and other well-wishers participated.
Two evening public satsang assemblies were held at the Osu Sanatan Mandir, which were attended by a total of over 350 people. Pujya Satyanand Swami, a disciple of Swami Shivanand, and leading representatives of the Gujarati Samaj also attended the assemblies.
This visit nourished the spiritual thirst of many.
