The 13th annual BAPS Women’s Conference was held in thirteen cities across North America with women from all ages interactive in engaging conversations centered on the theme of Sadhana: The Purpose and the Pursuit. Sadhana is the collective efforts we perform towards achieving our goals. The conference explored ways to understand the underlying hope behind our ambitions and goals, the efforts needed to achieve them and the challenges faced along the way. Speakers elaborated on the role that spiritual Sadhana plays in maintaining faith, strength, courage and stillness – all of which are required to get through various life experiences and challenges. Panelists also provided valuable experiences related to maintaining personal Sadhana through Ahnik (daily practices), honest introspection, and service to society.
Each year, the BAPS Women’s Conference aspires to provide a platform for attendees to collaborate on ideas that bring about change and inspire personal growth. His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj continues to encourage such events that foster the strength and advancement of women in both family and society.
