The second batch of 136 yuvatis from across India completed the four-month training at the BAPS Yuvati Talim Kendra (Yuvati Training Center) at Randesan. The convocation ceremony was held on the auspicious occasion of Dashera, 30 September 2017, in the presence of invited guests, senior BAPS Women’s Wing volunteers, parents of the yuvatis and the students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidya Mandir in Randesan.
The program included skits, dances, video presentations about the training and interviews of how it has enhanced the lives of the yuvatis.
The yuvatis were presented their certificates by the chief guests: Dr. Ameeben Yagnik, Director of the All-India Federation Women Lawyers Association in Gujarat, and Shri Bhartiben Wadhwana, a distinguished social worker.
Dr. Amee Yagnik addressed the convocation assembly, “Only the fortunate get this training. The youths have benefitted a lot through this training. The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha has done great work by conducting this kind of training where the yuvatis come with great potential to learn, to grow and to expand their experiences centered on the four core topics of jnan (spiritual knowledge), jivan (practical application of knowledge in life), kala kaushalya (skills and talents) and seva (service).”
Thereafter, the teachers who helped to train the yuvatis were also felicitated.
