This December, Mahila devotees across North America came together to celebrate Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 97th birth anniversary and experienced an impactful program filled with skits, speeches, and dances centered around the theme, Pramukh Pratignãne Abhivandanã, meaning "We bow to the pledge taken by Pramukh Swami Maharaj." The program highlighted Pramukh Swami's solemn pledge of serving the needs of individuals and fulfilling the wishes of his gurus Shastriji Maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj. Pramukh Swami Maharaj sacrificed himself in achieving this commitment through the very end of his earthly presence.
Through videos and reenactment of real incidences, the program reminded the audience of Pramukh Swami Maharaj's immense sacrifices in helping those in need, in building individuals with character, and in serving others. In expressing his humble appreciation, guru Mahant Swami Maharaj has emphasized, "Roon chukvaay j nahi," meaning, "we can never repay him," noting Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s immense service for individuals and society.
During Mahant Swami Maharaj’s summer vicharan across North America, Mahila Mandals across North America had expressed their sincere Bhakti through performing seva in support of many programs, offering unique haars and shawls with detailed artwork, and offering donations. Through this celebration, they once again relived the divine smrutis of the summer with Mahant Swami Maharaj reaffirming that Pramukh Swami Maharaj is indeed with us.
The celebration inspired attendees as they resolved to follow in the examples of their gurus Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj.
