‘Thaiye Swami Jeva’ will be the theme to celebrate Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s Shatabdi Mahotsav for Bal-Balika & Kishore-Kishori Mandals across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) for the next five years.
As part of these centenary celebrations, the first regional level Bal-Kishore (BK) Adhiveshans, entitled ‘Gnan – Know Him’, were held in 12 centers (Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Canberra, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and Rotorua) during the months of July and August.
The participating youths had six months to prepare. They were provided booklets containing the information they were to be tested on. The youths were also encouraged and guided by saints to prepare for the adhiveshans. In total 434 Bal-Balikas and 236 Kishore-Kishoris participated. The adhiveshans were possible through the efforts of volunteers who managed and coordinated the adhiveshans within their local centers.
The adhiveshans not only increased the spiritual knowledge, but also encouraged the participants to read the scriptures regularly and follow the niyams of satsang in their daily lives. By the grace of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj the regional adhiveshans were truly enjoyable and successful.
