The 2016 karyakar shibirs were held at various centres across Australia and New Zealand region, with the theme “Ame ã yagna ãrambhyo…..”. With the inspiration of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and in the presence of learned sadhus, the one-day shibirs were held during January to March 2016. Devotees and volunteers were present in great numbers across various centres to gain a deeper spiritual insight around the theme of, “Ame ã yagna ãrambhyo…..”
The delegates were introduced to the eternal truth of Akshar-Purushottam upasana through a montage of Hindu scriptural passages, captivating video presentations, and addresses charting the transmission of these teachings from the lives of our guru parampara (lineage).
Practical workshops and brain-storming sessions were also held to highlight the importance of having samp-suhrudbhav-ekta and not indulging in abhav-avgun.
Learned sadhus also explained the wise and tireless efforts of Shashtriji Maharaj in establishing flawless principals of Bhagwan Swaminarayan's Akshar-Purshottam upasana through their enlightening speeches. Many devotees commented on the positive impact the shibir had in imparting a clearer understanding of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, Shastriji Maharaj, the roots of BAPS, and the Akshar-Purushottam upasana, and in enthusing and guiding them towards a stronger spiritual grounding in their lives.
