This year the annual Yuvati Parayans were held across 611 centers throughout India with the theme ‘Sanskruti’. To understand 'sanskruti,' ie. our culture, the three day parayan was focused on Murti Puja, Punar janma (rebirth), Karma Siddhant (the principles of karma) and Avatarvad (incarnations of God).
On the first day, the yuvatis affirmed the reasons and rituals for Murti puja. On the second day, they learnt about Punar Janma and on the third day yuvatis understood about Avatarvad. The topics were elaborated through speeches from scriptures like the Vachnamrut and Harililamrut, in addition to stories from other scriptures shown through skits and audio-visual presentations. The parayan helped these youths widen and deepen their knowledge of Hindu Sanskruti.
