More than 80 sadhus and 7,500 volunteers participated in this year’s annual training convention for volunteers who coordinate BAPS' children’s activities in India. From 12 December 2014 through 4 January 2015, 12 one and a half day conventions were held at six locations. The convention helped increased the volunteers’ satsang depth and furthered their bal sabha organization and presentation skills.
Seniors sadhus inspired the volunteers to live dedicated and devoted lives with lectures on topics such as ‘What is Yaganpurushne Dwar?’, ‘The Purpose of Shastriji Maharaj’s Birth’, and ‘Let Us Be Yagnapurush’. These enlightening lectures were supported by group activities and video presentations.
The convention also served as an annual regional meeting to discuss the new aspects of the Bal-Balika Mandal syllabus in India as well as the upcoming year’s children’s activities.
