On the morning of 4 August 2013, around 800 devotees of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Nairobi, enthusiastically participated in the Annual Sports Day held at the Spinner and Spinners grounds.
After the traditional Deep Pragatya by the sadhus, devotees took part in various competitions.
The men participated in games such as football, cricket, volleyball, kho-kho and kabaddi, while the women and girls played volleyball, tug-of-war, and competed in skipping races, bursting balloons and other sports. The sports events concluded at noon after many enjoyable hours.
