A one-day Satsang shibir themed ‘Kariye Raji Ghanshyam’ was held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Coventry on Sunday 26 February 2012. This was the first shibir to be held at the Mandir.
The day was broken down into three sessions that focused on mahima, milan and mamattva. Mahima highlighted how one can fully appreciate the glory of Swamishri, devotees and sadhus, milan was centred on serving together with unity, and mamattva inspired all to develop greater affection for the mandir.
In each session there were enlightening speeches from Yogvivek Swami and Shukmuni Swami. A number of related interviews, panel discussions and activities were also organised to keep the sessions interactive and meaningful. The young and old grouped together and participated in team-building exercises and group discussions.
Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the shibir, and left inspired with the knowledge that their personal Satsang would be strengthened as a result.
