The BAPS Melbourne Satsang Mandal, with the support of the Australian Red Cross Society, organized a Blood Donation Drive on 20 and 28 December.
This was third year in succession and each year the number of people donating has increased, showing the high level of commitment and enthusiasm to help and reach out amongst the community.
The response to the drive was tremendous. By the end of two days, over 90 people had been able to contribute in the noble cause, indicating their zeal for humanitarian services. The event was honoured by the participation of Sgt. David Short, Victoria Police Manager for the Crime Prevention Neighbourhood Watch State Co-ordination Unit, on 28 December 2009.
BAPS is grateful to everyone for their generous support.
