As part of BAPS Centenary Celebrations, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Tanzania, in collaboration with CCBRT Hospital of Dar-es-Salaam organized an Eye Camp at Kitunda Primary School (near Kitunda Clinic) on Saturday 17 November 2007.
The Eye Camp was officially opened by Hon. Abbas Kandoro, Regional Commisioner of Dar-es-Salaam.
Over 600 patients attended the camp, out of which approximately 44 were referred for operations, approximately 170 were provided various medicines and approximately 150 were provided spectacles for better vision.
Our appreciations to the doctors and staff of CCBRT Hospital, Dar-es-Salaam and all the volunteers of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Tanzania, for their kind support in making the Eye Camp a tremendous success.
