For many years the BAPS has been actively providing a wide range of medical services to all stratas of society, both in India and abroad. Ranging from the basic to the advanced, through its mobile dispensaries to its well-equipped hospitals and healthcare centres, BAPS serves over 485,000 patients annually. Including preventive and curative treatment, BAPS Medical Services is active in many remote tribal areas and hundreds of villages throughout Gujarat.
At present, BAPS manages 8 charitable hospitals and healthcare centres in Gujarat and Mumbai, with two more under construction. The figures below represent the total number of patients treated at major BAPS hospitals and healthcare centres upto March 2002 from their date of opening:
