BAPS Medical Services organized a medical consultation camp at the BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir on Woodbridge Avenue, Edison for the entire Indian community. Over 1300 people took advantage of this free event, which was supported by Jewish Renaissance Foundation, Solaris Health System, and State of NJ Commission of Blind & Visually Impaired. 20 physicians of different specialties, along with 25 nurses and paramedics, donated their services. Other BAPS volunteers also served with enthusiasm in all areas of services.

Families, especially children, learned many useful things related to fire and general life safety from Edison Fire Dept., St. Barnabas Burn and Fire safety and Edison First Aid Squad # 2.
The Many families received valuable information, and applications, on how to obtain low cost health coverage, including government backed programs like NJ Family Care for children at no cost.
