The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha provides members of rural communities with a variety of services to help improve their lives. Our agricultural development programs provide farmers with training to improve water conservation through drip irrigation, address disease and blight with modern farming techniques and improve crop yields through better management. Our educational initiatives have brought primary and secondary schools to rural locations and provided vocational training to help families prepare for new opportunities to support themselves. Additionally, our rural medical services bring health care to populations that are underserved and who lack access to quality care.
