o On Swamishri's arrival in the evening assembly, he was honoured by the Mayor of Himmatnagar Shri Lalbhai Desai, officials of the Himmatnagar City Council and many other leading representatives local organisations and dignitaries for the extensive social uplift projects Swamishri has inspired in the region. As a tribute to Swamishri's work, the Mayor declared that the road leading from the Motipura Canal to Kasia Road would now be known as 'Pramukh Swami Maharaj Marg.'
Blessing the assembly, Swamishri said, "We all do many works - for oneself, relatives and others. But the most important task is that of attaining salvation for the atma, for this we practice satsang. The scriptures teach that salvation is attained when one meets God or His holy Sadhu."
o To commemorate the Bicentenary of arti, Swamishri, sadhus and devotees performed mass arti.
15 November 2002 (V.S. 2059, Kartak sud 11) Friday, Himmatnagar
This day, Kartik sud 11, was special because was on this day Nilkanth Varni had received initiation into the sadhu-fold from Ramanand Swami. Also, on this day, Pramukh Swami Maharaj was given initiation by his guru Shastriji Maharaj.
Today 10 youths received bhagvati diksha and 7 youths received parshad diksha from Pramukh Swami Maharaj. In his blessings Pramukh Swami Maharaj said, "Some people ask, 'How will sadhus serve society?' They feel sadhus are a burden. But they are not a burden. They travel from village-to-village and serve people. They redeem people from addictions and lead them onto the path of devotion to God. When people are elevated personally, the country as a whole progresses. Society is made up of virtuous individuals. And a virtuous society leads to an affluent country. Sadhus will help to create such virtuous individuals."
16 November 2002 (V.S. 2059, Kartak sud 12) Saturday, Himmatnagar
In the morning a special Tribal Assembly was held. From early morning tribal devotees from scores of tribal villages in the Sabarkantha region arrived in dozens of trucks. Over 4300 devotees were present for this special tribal assembly.
Following speeches by senior sadhus, stories about tribal devotees whose wayward lives had been transformed through satsang were narrated and they were blessed by Swamishri.
To mark this special occasion tribal youths performed exiting traditional dances in the presence of Swamishri. Finally, Swamishri blessed the assembly.
17 November 2002 (V.S. 2059, Kartak sud 13) Sunday, Himmatnagar
o In the morning, during Swamishri's puja, devotees of the Sabarkantha district participated in a special mahapuja ceremony offering their devotion to Shri Harikrishna Maharaj and guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
After his puja, Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha ceremony for the murtis to be installed in four new Sanskardhams in the suburbs of Amdavad - Sola Road, Saraspur, Bopal and Ghatlodia-Naranpura.
o In the afternoon, a special Women's assembly was held which was conducted entirely by the Women's Wing.
o The evening assembly was celebrated as the Pushpa Tula Ceremony. It featured cultural presentation by chuldren, teenagers and youths, speeches by senior sadhus and a special ceremony in which Shri Harikrishna Maharaj was honored.
At the conclusion of the celebration, Swamishri blessed the assembly, "Those who have recognized God and realized the glory of God are not taken in by other things. They only do what will please God. To please God, (worldly) things are an obstacle. And to leave them is very difficult. But for a true devotee of God, there is nothing greater than God in this world ..."

Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha rituals of murtis for a Hari mandir in Vishwanathpura Lat, (Kapadvanj district).
29 November 2002 (V.S. 2059, Kartak vad 10) Friday, Vidyanagar, Umreth, Dakor
o The previous day a yagna of 51 kunds was held as part of the murti pratishtha rituals in Umreth. 350 participants participated in the yagna. The same day in the evening a grand procession of murtis was carried out by 7,000 devotees and well-wishers.
o Swamishri performed murti-pratishtha rituals of Dham, Dhami and Mukta, Laxmi Narayan Dev and Guru Parampara. Thereafter an assembly was held in which 9,000 devotees were present. Swamishri blessed the assembly.
o Swamishri departed from Umreth and reached Dakor at 1.15 p.m. In the evening Swamishri went for darshan of the holy places in Dakor, namely, Gomti pond, Danknath Mahadev (where Bhakta Bodana had brought the murti of Ranchhodrayji from Dwarika and placed it there) and Ranchhodrayji mandir where he was honored and welcomed by the trustees.
o Swamishri blessed the evening satsang assembly in Dakor.
o After dinner Swamishri met the mahants of different mandirs in Dakor.
30 November 2002 (V.S. 2059, Kartak vad 11) Saturday, Dakor, Umreth, Bhatpura, Vidyanagar
At 10.20 a.m. Swamishri went for darshan of the mandirs in Dakor, Swamishri also sanctified a sanctuary for cows called 'Shri Dakor Khodadhor Panjrapol Trust' run by BAPS. At present 321 cows are being looked after.
