In the evening assembly balaks and kishores presented a drama on the qualities of a bonafide sadhu.
18 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 3) Friday, Washington DC
After Swamishri's morning puja a collective program for home-visit (samuh padhramani) was arranged. Devotees who had enrolled came up to Swamishri, placed a flower before Thakorji and received the blessings of Swamishri and 'prasad' from the senior sadhus.
The collective home-visit is a great service to Swamishri because it saves him from physical strain.
19 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 4) Saturday, Washington DC
Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha of Shri Akshar Purushottam Maharaj, Shri Radha Krishna Dev amd murtis of Guru Parampara.
In the evening assembly Lord Harikrishna Maharaj was honored by the devotees.
20 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 5) Sunday, Washington DC, Philadelphia
Swamishri arrived at Philadelphia at 10.10 am. On reaching the mandir, Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha ceremony. More than 2,500 devotees and well-wishers attended the occasion.
22 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 7) Tuesday, Philadelphia, New York
At 11.22 am Swamishri arrived at the New York mandir. In the evening Dr. Subramaniyam and his team of doctors who had performed Swamishri's bypass surgery came to see him. They were honored and welcomed during the assembly.
23 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 8) Wednesday, New York: Janmashtami Festival
The Indian Deputy Consul General, Shri R. V. Warjri and several Indian dignitaries were invited for Swamishri's blessings and the evening celebration of Janmashtami.
24 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 9) Thursday, New York
Swamishri visited the proposed site for a new mandir in Long Island and sanctified it.
In the evening assembly Lord Harikrishna Maharaj was honored by kishores and kishoris. Then on the occasion of Kishore Din kishores performed a couple of brief dramas showing that inner peace lies with the holy sadhu.
25 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 10) Friday, New York
The devotees honored Lord Harikrishna Maharaj in the evening Satsang assembly.
27 August 2000: (V.S. 2056, Shravan Vad 11) Saturday, New York
At 10.30 am Swamishri addressed a Medico-Spiritual Conference, "The root cause of all diseases are the evil elements within. To redeem oneself of them we have the holy shastras and sadhus. Just as there is a manual for a machine, likewise, this God given body is like a machine, the shastras are the manuals and sadhus are the doctors ..."
