BAPS UK Trustee, Dr Mayank Shah, formally welcomed the distinguished guests
Senior swamis presided over the assembly
Brahmaviharidas Swami delivered the keynote address on Pramukh Swami Maharaj's life-motto, 'In the joy of others lies our own'
On this occasion, BAPS donated £20,000 to Alzheimer's Society, one of the country's largest charities fighting dementia
Tim McLachlan, Operations Director for Alzheimer’s Society, thanked BAPS for the funds and explained how they would be used to save and improve lives
Swamishri personally greeted several dignitaries during the evening
Anandswarupdas Swami introduced Mahant Swami Maharaj to the guests
Swamishri welcomed the guests and thanked them for their on-going support
Swamishri urged everyone to work for the 'community' in the true sense - for the common good, with unity
