On 10 September, Pujya Swayamprakashdas Swami (Doctor Swami) was warmly welcomed with garlands and flowers at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Nagpur. During his 15-day stay, children, youths and elders benefitted from the numerous captivating and enlightening programs in his presence.
On the evening of 14 September, the Jal Jhilani Ekadashi celebration was held in the mandir campus. The celebration assembly included bhajans, arti, and Doctor Swamiji’s speech and concluded with the ritual immersion of Shri Ganeshji in a small decorated pond.
On the evening of 15 September, around 600 devotees from BAPS centers throughout Central India attended the Swagat and Annakut Udghosh Sabha.
The assembly featured bhajans by youths and speeches by BAPS swamis. Pujya Doctor Swami addressed the assembly with messages strengthening unity, fraternity and peace.
On 17 September, Pujya Doctor Swami visited the BAPS Chhatralaya.
On 18 September, he visited the BAPS Swaminarayan School, where students in grades 5 to 8 fluently recited Satsang Diksha verses. Then, Doctor Swami guided the students, teachers and staff on the values of humility, discipline and devotion. He encouraged them to strive for excellence in both education and spirituality.
On the evening of 22 September, the Karyakar and Mandir Sevak Abhivadan Sabha was held, in which BAPS karyakars and mandir sevaks from Nagpur and across Central India were felicitated by Pujya Doctor Swami and other swamis for their seva and dedication.
On the evening of 24 September, Pujya Doctor Swami left Nagpur for Indore.
