The 2024 residential satsang shibirs for UK & Europe were held during the month of August at Warwick Conference Park, bringing together more than 3,300 delegates of all ages to help develop their understanding and application of core satsang principles.
The shibirs were separated into four age groups, allowing young and old to learn according to their interests, capacity, and needs.
The Bal-Balika Shibir (for 8- to 13-year-olds) was held from 24 to 26 August, with over 400 children enjoying a thrilling special agent-themed theatre production. Each balak and balika was tasked with a ‘secret mission’ to establish jodān (a strong spiritual connection) with their guru, Mahant Swami Maharaj.
The Kishore-Kishori Shibir (for 14- to 22-year-olds) was held from 16 to 18 August. It attracted more than 500 enthusiastic youths for a three-day youth convention aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of the role of a guru in personal and spiritual development.
The Yuvak-Yuvati Shibir (for 23- to 35-year-olds) was held from 23 to 25 August in which over 730 yuvaks and yuvatis learned about ‘Ekantik: The True Path’, inspiring them to deeply understand and imbibe the principles of Ekantik Dharma.
The Sanyukta Shibir (for over-35s) was held over two long weekends from 16 to 18 August and 25 to 27 August to help over 1,700 delegates understand the spiritual significance of Mahant Swami Maharaj’s work, wisdom, and virtues.
