From 1974 to 2014, His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj tirelessly traveled across North America, revitalizing Hindu traditions and culture. He envisioned establishing a mandir in Delaware, a vision that became a reality on August 27, 2006, with the inauguration of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in New Castle, Delaware. Over the years, with the continued blessings and guidance of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the Hindu-American community and satsang in Delaware have flourished.
