Over the past 50 years, His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj and His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj have expanded Satsang across North America, deepening the understanding and practice of Hindu values and teachings. In Warrington, Pennsylvania, they planted the seeds of Satsang and Hindu culture. After years of planning and the sincere wishes of many devotees, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Warrington opened its doors on January 2, 2012. This event marked the creation of a community that embraced people from all walks of life, united by the principles of samp, suhradbhav, and ekta. Mahant Swami Maharaj performed the murti pratishtha ceremony, consecrating the murtis of Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj, and establishing the mandir as a beacon of spiritual teachings and values for all who visit.
On the morning of August 11, 2023, Mahant Swami Maharaj performed the Murti Pratishtha of a new set of murtis to be enshrined in the mandir in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
On July 28, 2024, the murti sthapan ceremony commenced with a Shobha Yatra of Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj. This historic ceremony unfolded amidst Vedic chanting and devotional festivities, with the presence of Pujya Gnanpriyadas Swami, Pujya Yagnavallabhdas Swami, and other Swamis.
