Children aged 3 to 7 years gathered at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London, to celebrate the 91st birth anniversary of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj with great devotion and enthusiasm.
The celebration, themed “Bapa, My Best Friend”, was celebrated through a host of devotional festivities and a colourful cultural programme.
For children, the connection with their beloved Guru often blossoms through interactive elements, musicals, prayer recitals, and sharing their experiences with Guru Mahant Swami Maharaj. His compassionate care for children is evident in the practical and thoughtful guidance, blessings, and solace he provides through his interaction with them.
The event featured a vibrant programme in which children expressed their devotion through various cultural performances, including traditional dances, devotional songs, and insightful skits. An inspiring musical based on a story of an ant and an elephant further delved into the significance of maintaining a strong spiritual connection with the Guru, reminding everyone of the encouragement and guidance Mahant Swami Maharaj provides for the younger generation.
