Over 20,000 boys and girls participated in the 3-day Bal Vikas Parvas held at BAPS centers across India during the summer of 2024. Based on a schedule prepared by the Bal Pravrutti Central Office (BPCO), local centers conducted these parvas for the all-round development of children. Titled ‘Anand Killol’, the parvas guided children on Satsang, Sanskar, Culture, Health, and Self-Development.
During the three days, the children learned about spirituality through speeches by swamis and animation videos, and devotional activities such as collective worship, mandir darshan, and daily devotional rituals. The children also learnt about the judicious use of mobiles, regular worship, and respect for parents through an interactive workshop.
In addition, they participated in quizzes, field games, craftwork, festive celebrations, yoga and other activities.
