During the holy months of Chaturmas, over 85,900 balaks and balikas took part in the 1,983 Bal and Balika Parayans held at BAPS centers throughout India.
Each of the three-day Bal-Balika Parayans, based on the theme ‘The Divine Life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan’, was conducted by the balaks and balikas at each center using the content provided by the Bal Pravrutti Central Office.
Children throughout the country diligently prepared for and presented story narrations, thematic dances, dramas and other activities that highlighted the divine life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, including his childhood as Ghanshyam, pilgrimage throughout India as Nilkanth Varni, and divine exploits as Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
The enthusiastic and captivating performances by the children and the specially prepared videos on Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s life thrilled the children and adults in the audience.
The parayans summarized Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s teachings and acknowledged his divine presence even today in the form of the Gunatit Satpurush.
