The convocation ceremony for the 11th batch of Yuvati Talim Kendra of 79 young women (yuvatis) from India, Africa and Australia was held in the presence of Hon’ble Ms. Justice Vaibhavi D. Nanavati, members of the BAPS Mahila Madhyastha Karyalaya, students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidya Mandir and parents of the graduating yuvatis.
The convocation assembly was themed ‘Vartan thi Pravartan’ (Your Actions Will Promote the Message). The key messages learnt by the sevikas during their four-month training were presented through an enlightening skit, a quiz and interviews of sevikas.
Justice Nanavati presented the graduating sevikas their certificates. During her address to the assembly, she attributed her illustrious career to the influence of satsang in her life and advised the sevikas to uphold the cultural values acquired through this training until their last breath.
Jignaba Jadeja and Divyaben Patel, members of the BAPS Mahila Madhyastha Karyalaya, provided guidance on the role of sevikas after training, and how they can contribute to satsang and society.
Rohiniben Patel (Sanskrit Mahavidhyalaya Co-ordinator, Randesan) concluded the program with a vote of thanks.
