The Asmita Din celebration, graced by the presence of HH Mahant Swami Maharaj, underscored the unique challenges experienced by students emigrating from India for their studies. Before the arrival of Swamishri, a discussion took place about the difficulties these students encounter when adjusting to life in a new country. Senior BAPS Swamis offered advice and guidance, encouraging students to adapt to their new Canadian surroundings while remaining proud of their cultural heritage, values, and identities.
Following Swamishri's entrance into the event, students had the chance to voice their day-to-day struggles. In response, Swamishri emphasised the need for fearlessness in the face of life's obstacles. He urged the students to display bravery while following the agnas and niyams, and he advocated for inner stability nurtured through spiritual growth.
Swamishri's presence left an indelible mark on the youth who were present, gifting them with memories they will cherish. Inspired by Swamishri's teachings, they pledged to develop fearlessness, courage, and stability in their lives.
