On June 11, 2023, the women of BAPS Canada organized a grand celebration at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Toronto to honour the arrival of Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj. The Akshar Purushottam Vadhamana program aimed to enlighten everyone about the significance of Aksharbrahman.
Women of every age from across Canada gave Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj a hearty and exuberant welcome, making the event truly memorable. The ceremony was made more festive by an elaborate procession that exemplified their excitement and joy. The program was an amalgamation of various engaging activities, ranging from dances and dramas to speeches and devotional songs.
Bhagwan Swaminarayan's teachings, and the importance of the manifest form of Aksharbrahman in one’s lives were the guiding principles of this celebration. The event resonated with the central theme of understanding the essence of Aksharbrahman. The gathering also underscored the spiritual implications of the Vedic Akshar Purushottam philosophy, as highlighted by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj.
The event was attended by esteemed guest that included Michelle Ferreri, Member of Parliament for Peterborough-Kawartha.
