The construction of the majestic Pramukh Swami Maharaj Smruti Mandir in Sarangpur is well under way. On the sacred day of Jal Jhilani Ekadashi, the mandir’s Pratham Stambh Sthapan Vidhi was held.
The event took place in the presence of Pujya Viveksagar Swami, Gnaneshwar Swami, other senior swamis, and devotees from India and abroad. A mahapuja was first held in the Yagnapurush Sabha Mandap. The gathering then moved to the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Smruti Mandir. Vedic prayers were recited as the first carved stambh (pillar) was set in place to complete the ceremony. All those present then offered their respects to the sacred stone.
