We are shocked and saddened by the anti-India graffiti at the gates of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto, Canada by anti-social elements. The BAPS temple in Toronto, like all temples of BAPS worldwide, is an abode of peace, harmony, equality, selfless service, and universal Hindu values.
At this critical time, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, has prayed for peace and unity and has appealed to all devotees and well-wishers to maintain peace.
We are thankful to the appropriate authorities, including the governments of India and Canada, for their continued support and sympathy.
Let us all join in worldwide prayers, in private and at home, that God blesses and guides us all to continue to do good and think good of all.
કેનેડાના ટોરન્ટો શહેર ખાતે બી.એ.પી.એસ. શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ મંદિરના પ્રવેશદ્વાર પર કેટલાંક અસામાજિક તત્ત્વોએ કરેલ ભારત વિરોધી ગ્રાફિટી લખાણોથી અમે આઘાત અને શોક અનુભવીએ છીએ. વિશ્વભરમાં વ્યાપેલા અન્ય બી.એ.પી.એસ. મંદિરોની જેમ જ, આ બી.એ.પી.એસ. મંદિર પણ શાંતિ, સંવાદિતા, સમરસતા, સંસ્કાર, નિસ્વાર્થ જનસેવા તેમજ વૈશ્વિક હિન્દુ મૂલ્યોનું ધામ છે. આવા સંસ્કૃતિ-ધામ પર આવેલી આ વિકટ વેળાએ બી.એ.પી.એસ. સ્વામિનારાયણ સંસ્થાના આધ્યાત્મિક વડા પરમ પૂજ્ય મહંત સ્વામી મહારાજે સર્વે હરિભક્તો અને શુભેચ્છકોને શાંતિ જાળવવા હાર્દિક અપીલ કરી છે. આ વિકટ વેળાએ સહયોગ અને સહાનુભૂતિ આપવા બદલ ભારત અને કેનેડા સરકાર તેમજ તમામ સંસ્થાઓના અમે આભારી છીએ. આવો, સૌનું ભલું થાય એ ભાવના સાથે આપણે વ્યક્તિગત રીતે અને પોતપોતાના ઘરમંદિરમાં પ્રાર્થના કરીએ કે પરમાત્મા આપણને સૌને સૌનું ભલું કરવાની અને ભલું ઇચ્છવાની વધુ શક્તિ અને પ્રેરણા આપે.
