On Sunday, November 28, the Honorable Randhir Jaiswal, the Consul General of India in New York, and the Honorable J.P. Gupta, the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department for the State of Gujarat, visited the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Robbinsville, New Jersey and other places of worship on the Swaminarayan Akshardham North America campus. They were deeply inspired by the beauty, peace and spirituality of the place, as well as the selfless service of the volunteers. Mr. Gupta was leading a government delegation of prominent business people throughout the United States to forge greater alliances with the Indian diaspora. Swami Brahmviharidas, along with other Swamis of BAPS North America, received the esteemed guests and the delegation at Tapomurti Shri Nilkanth Varni spot. Mr. Jaiswal, Mr. Gupta, and the delegation performed abhishek and prayed for greater peace and harmony throughout the world. The delegates were then introduced to members of the local community and gathered for a small event where Mr. Jaiswal, Mr. Gupta, and Brahmviharidas Swami all spoke about the important role of spirituality and ethics in business and everyday life.
