On 12 July 2020, in Nenpur, Gujarat, Pragat Brahmaswarup Mahant Swami Maharaj presided, via video conference, over the sanctification of 200 sets of metallic murtis of Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj for the devotees of New Zealand to keep in their homes and offer devotion.
Thereafter, with the coronavirus pandemic under control in New Zealand, a special mahapuja was conducted at the BAPS Mandir in Auckland. Around 300 devotees at the mandir and many more online performed pujan of the Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj murtis which had been remotely sanctified by Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj.
This occasion also marked the reopening of Satsang assemblies across New Zealand. Through discourses, the swamis emphasized the importance of having the murtis of Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj at home and inspired all the devotees to daily offer their heartfelt bhakti in their ghar mandirs.
During the mahapuja rituals, the swamis also prayed for the well-being of all, and an early end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
