This summer, a Regional Leadership Seminar was held in six different regions across North America in the auspicious presence of Sadguru Pujya Doctor Swami. In line with the annual theme of 2019 and leading up to Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s Centenary Celebrations, the focus of the seminar was on Sadhana, or one’s spiritual journey. The event presented a unique opportunity for karyakars from all departments to gain perspectives from each other to perform their seva with their own spiritual Sadhana as the focal point.
In attendance were respective activity coordinators and members of the Satsang leadership team. Learned Swamis, Pujya Atmatrupt Swami and Pujya Gnaneshwar Swami highlighted ways in which one can draw inspiration from one’s ahnik or daily Satsang to transform one’s seva into Sadhana. By recognizing and focusing on the intent behind each seva, all seva can become a form of bhakti and spiritual fulfillment. The karyakars learned how lead in their seva by building unity and a shared sense of ownership within their teams.
With practical guidance and words of encouragement from Sadguru Pujya Doctor Swami and other revered Swamis, the karyakars left the seminar motivated to align their lives to perform seva with increased devotion and diligence.
