The town of Westborough, MA is located approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Boston, MA. Throughout the last 3 years, the town has been graced by the presence of various Sadguru Swamis, which subsequently has led to the growth of Satsang within the vicinity of the town itself. The mandir, located on a golf course was made by the tireless and dedicated efforts of the local devotees.
The murti sthapan vidhi was held on June 17, 2018, amid Vedic chanting and devotional festivities. The inauguration celebrations of the new mandir included a special mahapuja where devotees and well-wishers offered their prayers for world peace and the well-being of the community. To the great delight and joy of the devotees, Sadguru Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami enthusiastically performed the Sthapan vidhi of the murits of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami, Shri Radha-Krishna, Guru Parampara, Shri Sita-Ram-Hanumanji, and Shri Shiv-Parvati-Ganeshji. These murtis were earlier consecrated by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj on
September 9, 2017, in Edison, NJ.
During the inaugural assembly, devotees cherished memories of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj and His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj’s visit to the Boston area. Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami spoke on the importance of mandir, samp, and seva in our lives.
