HE Yoweri Museveni, the President of Uganda, sincerely thanked Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj for gracing and blessing Uganda and also took the opportunity to hold Shri Harikrishna Maharaj in his hands and take a picture.
Since the meeting at the State House took place around 2:30 p.m., Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj very innocently and with a motherly concern asked the president, “When will you have lunch?” The president was touched by Swamishri’s affection and exclaimed emotionally, “Swamishri is worrying about me and my lunch?!”
He was also delighted to receive Swamishri’s three messages of humility, respect and service towards all.
At the end of the meeting, Swamishri prayed that may Uganda develop quickly and may peace prevail in the country. As Swamishri and his entourage departed, the president stood at the doorway with his hands folded until the last car left the premises.
