On Saturday, September 2, 2017, more than 500 alumni of the Akshar Purushottam Chattralay (APC) in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Adipur, Atladra, Bardoli, Bhavnagar, Dhule, Mehsana, Nadiad, Surat, and Ukai came together to celebrate an international reunion in the presence of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
The theme of the event was Chukvi na sakiye roon aapnu. The delegates were immersed in a cohesive experience that aimed to form a connection between the delegates and their guru. Students shared their interactions with their guru in which they had garnered love and compassion from His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj and His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj. Interspersed between these speeches was a new ghazal, Tamara premal sparsh thi. Pujya Anandswarupdas Swami, Pujya Yagnavallabhdas Swami, and Pujya Viveknidhidas Swami addressed the assembly. The event refreshed memories for all attendees and resurfaced the wise teachings by Pujya Swamis from their days at the Chattralay. The students left the assembly in nostalgia and pride for their shared experiences.
