Nava Vaghpura, a predominantly tribal village situated in Narmada district, celebrated the murti-pratishta mahotsav of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir on 29-01-2016. With the blessings of Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj and the devotion and dedication of devotees, the mandir was built in a short span of 10 months. The celebrations began with Vishwa-Shanti Mahayagna where more than 200 yajmaan couples took part. Later in the evening a Nagar Yatra of the murtis to be consecrated was witnessed by hundreds of devotees. The prathistha rituals of the murtis were performed earlier by Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj in Sarangpur. The murtis were consecrated in their respective shrines as per Vedic rituals by Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami. The Mahotsav was attended by Member of Parliament and state minister Shri Mansukhbhai Vasava. The celebrations concluded with the blessings of Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami.
