Amblash is a small village located in the district of Gir Somnath. With the blessings of Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj, sastang has been going on in the village for the past 22 years.
The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir Murti-Pratishta Mahotsav, Amblash - Gir, was celebrated over two days as per Vedic tradition. The celebrations started on 3 December 2015, with the Mahila Samelan. In the afternoon thousands witnessed the shobha yatra of murtis to be consecrated in beautifully decorated floats through the main streets. In the evening a sanskrutik program was held in which the children performed colourful dances and inspiring skits.
The Vedic murti-pratishtha ceremony commenced in the morning of December 4, 2015. Yogiswarup Swami performed the installation of the Murtis that were previously consecrated by Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj in Sarangpur.
