Satsang was begun in the town of Kanjari in 1981 by Shantilal Patel, Pujabhai, Amarnathbhai and other devotees. On 4 August 2001, Pramukh Swami Maharaj performed the murti-pratishtha of the BAPS Mandir.
Following recent renovations, new murtis were consecrated.
On 2 February about 80 yajmans participated in the Yagna for World Peace. In the afternoon, a decorative nagar-yatra through the town gave all townspeople an opportunity for darshan.
Swamishri had performed the murti-pratishtha rituals for the murtis on 27 January 2015.
On 3 February, Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami consecrated the new murtis in the mandir.
