Bhayli is a village located in the Vadodara district of Gujarat, India. During Shastriji Maharaj's time, sadhus from Atladara Mandir would go to Bhayli for satsang and to beg for alms. At the request of Chhotabhai Vrajbhai Patel, Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj had arranged a seven day parayan during which Pujya Pramukh Swami discoursed on the Satsangijivan scripture. Pujya Pramukh Swami has visited Bhayli several times. It was the village where he first went after renouncing home on receiving Shastriji Maharaj's letter.
Due to the efforts of Shastriji Maharaj, Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj, and the constant vicharan by sadhus, in the year 1993 a mandir was made at the house of a devotee for regular satsang sabhas.
As satsang increased, the need for a larger mandir arose. Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami performed the shilanyas vidhi and soon the construction work began.
A three day celebration was held to mark the opening of the new BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Bhayli, from December 12, 2015 to December 14, 2015. The festivity began with a mahila sammelan on December 12, 2015. Later in the evening, the sadhus presented an excellent kirtan aradhana.
On December 13, 2015, more than 250 yajman couples participated in a vishwa shanti mahayagna for world peace. In the afternoon, thousands of devotees and well-wishers saw a colorful Nagar yatra of the murtis to be installed in the Mandir.
Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj had earlier performed the Vedic murti-pratishtha rituals of the murtis in Sarangpur on July 7, 2014. On the morning of December 14, 2015, Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami and Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami performed the mahapuja vidhi, after which the murtis were ritually installed in the shrines.
In the assembly after the pratishtha rituals, all those who had helped built the mandir were felicitated. Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami and other sadhus spoke of the values a mandir fosters. Local and community leaders also attended this auspicious occasion to convey their best wishes for the mandir.
Thousands of devotees participated in the mandir mahotsav over the three days.
