On the auspicious occasion of Guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 94th Birthday Celebration, BAPS devotees in Hong Kong performed two padyatras, one on 16th November 2014 (Morning) from Tsim Sha Tsui to BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir (Hung Hom) by 50 devotees (bal-balikas and Yuvak-Yuvatis) followed by Samuh Puja at the mandir. The second padyatra was on 23rd November 2014 on the same route by 85 devotees (bal-balikas and Yuvak Yuvatis) followed by a Mahapooja at Mandir.
Devotees also performed a 94 Minute Akhand Dhun at the mandir on 21st November to celebrate Swamishri's 94 years. As part of niyams and the prayers for Swamishri's good health, many yuvaks and mahilas performed a nirjala upvas (fasting, taking no food nor water).
The devotees pledged all the merits of these devotional activities for the good health and long life of Guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
