Sharad Purnima, the tithi of Aksharbrahman Gunatitanand Swami's birth, was celebrated in Gondal. Devotees gathered for darshan at the mandir and at Akshar Deri, where Aksharbrahman Gunatitanand Swami's mortal body was cremated.
A celebration assembly was held in the evening from 7.00pm to 10.30pm, with the theme, “Gunatitanand Mul Akshar, Sahajanand Ek Parameshwar.”
Speeches by sadguru sadhus focused on the tireless efforts of Shastriji Maharaj in establishing the necessity of Aksharbrahman on the spiritual path and explaining that Gunatitanand Swami was the manifest form of that Akshabrahman. Youths of the Gondal Yuvak Mandal presented a traditional dance and drama titled ‘Malji Soni’.
Many thousands attended the celebration assembly and gained from darshan and pradakshina of the Akshar Deri.
